FOR EDUCATORS

THEIR IDEA. YOUR GUIDANCE.
OUR PARTNERSHIP.

You don't need to be an innovation expert. You need confidence in your students and willingness to walk a process with them. We provide everything else.

YOUR ROLE

FACILITATE, DON'T SOLVE.

The contest is a learning experience. Your students learn by doing — sometimes what they learn is why something didn't work. That counts too.

DO THIS

  • Facilitate the process — don't hand them the answer
  • Help them define small, observable problems
  • Connect the team with people in the community
  • Review the pitch once, not ten times
  • Celebrate failing early as a form of learning

AVOID THIS

  • Don't solve the technical problem for the team
  • Don't impose the topic — listen to their interests
  • Don't edit out their voice in the final pitch
  • Don't push for spectacular results
  • Don't leave them alone with a deadline
