FOR STUDENTS

YOUR IDEA,
YOUR CONTEST.

Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is for you: build a prototype that solves a real problem in your community, alongside a teacher-mentor and — if you reach the final — Samsung mentors.

Leo · TIP
My advice: spend 48 hours observing before you propose anything. Most strong projects start in the field, not on Google.

HOW TO TAKE PART

SIX STEPS
FROM IDEA TO PITCH.

Each edition lasts about three months. You'll work as a team with a teacher-mentor, plus a Samsung mentor if you reach the final.

01

Build your team

3–5 students aged 14–22, with a teacher-mentor. Diversity equals strength.

02

Pick a local problem

Walk your school with a notebook. The best idea starts with observation.

03

Register online

10 minutes to create your account, add team members and declare your theme.

04

Design and prototype

Use whatever's nearby. Fast iteration beats perfection.

05

Test it with real people

Leave the classroom. Observe, take notes, adjust. Repeat.

06

Send your pitch

90-second video + 4-page brief + photos of the prototype.

WHAT YOU GET

MUCH MORE THAN A PRIZE.

The contest is the entry point, not the end. What stays with you: the experience of building something that matters.
